Discipline may correct the Mischiefs
arising from Indulgence; and
the Discipline of Public Schools is,
perhaps. a more effectual Alternative
than any other.
SCHOOLS then, and Public Schools
more especially, are very interesting
Objects of the Public Attention.
Of all Public Schools, the Public
is, on various Accounts, most interested
in that founded by the excellent
QUEEN ELIZABETH at WESTMINSTER.
It is most in the public Eye — The
Children of those Families, which
have obtained a Sort of Inheritance
in the Public Service, are chiefly
educated there; and it has the Honour
and the Happiness of being under
the peculiar Patronage of those,
who have had the Public at their
Devotion. In
