the said School, and original Proprietors
of an Estate in the Premises,
amounting in Value to several thousand
Pounds a Year, were not made
acquainted with the Intention of the
GENTLEMEN PROJECTORS, till their
petition had been referred to a Committee! —
And tho' in the Bill it
was thus affirmed, That they were
willing and consenting, &c. — it is
certain, there is was no such MINUTE in Nor have ye
the Chapter-Books; without which agreed with ye
no such Affirmation could be properly Dean & Chapter
authorized or relied on. — So that, to this Hour
whether we trace the Proceedings of in Matters of
the Petitioners upwards or downwards, ye highest Consequence
we find them alike obnoxious on the to them & ye
Head of PRESUMPTION or DISINGENUITY Successors.
