4. On this point shall reference be made to religion in general
and in particular to the religion of Jesus. As to this matter
antireformists will deal of course comport themselves as they did in regard to
the antique usage. So long as they think the evidence is in
their farms, they will say it is every thing: no sooner do they
find that it is against them beyond power of contestation they will find it to be as nothingdust
in the balance: they will find it to be inapplicable
