No sooner had the Parliament two Houses be set imprinted a mark upon
the armed Association system and in particular the meetings of Delegates the characters character of delinquency, than
the leading men of rank and opulence among its leaders
either deserted quitted it altogether, or if they continued their attendance
on it did so for no other purpose than that of
putting a stop to its operations and nullifying reducing to nothing its
influence. The last mention that occurs of the Volunteers
at large bears date the of 17 + the last meeting 1. Date of last meeting of
