Where Immediately Upon a mans being sentenced to this
punishment he may be kept in impr confinement
or let out upon Bail till his examination is concluded at the discretion of

At the same time notice shall be given ⊞ ⊞ lest he should alienate his effects in order to place them out of the reach of justice a Receiver shall be
appointed for his effects estate, and public notice given
to the end imparting that [no one may receive purchase
any of his effects without the privity of
such Receive, on pain of remaining
refunding what they have received] all contracts
thereafter made ⊞ ⊞ concerning such effects without privity of the such Receiver, shall
be void; as also all contracts made before
such notice in the view of chiding the
effect of it thereof.

If in the course of this enquiry he
should appear to have been guilty of any
other offences, he shall not however be
punished except as above (Art. 2) any farther for any other
sample kind of fraud; except by refunding as above.
