so large a deficiency as that of a halfpenny

and would contribute something towards rendering
the circumstance of ministerial support problematical.

Remarks might be given in the form of letters
on the most interesting of the new Statutes as they
come out: their advantages explained: their deficiencies
and their mistakes pointed out: and hints
given towards the supplying of the former, and the
correction of the latter.
Gw. might be engaged to communicate through
this channel what he has gather'd concerning

It was a long while before any abstract appeared of
the last Coinage acts, and when they did appear they
were various & contradictory. So of the Quebec Act.

Mem. The Morning Post is a precedent for lowering
the price. The price of that paper however was soon
raised –. Qn. whether to promise to keep this at the
price it sets out at?

Horse-racing to be omitted in the Town Paper.
Theatrical matters in the Country. In this cast, accounts to be
given only of the New Plays &c not of the performances of Players.
