Throughout their respective Counties and stuck up in the most
conspicuous places in every Town Village &c in the Counties
aforesaid any Persons keeping Secreting Selling or buying any
Such Horse &c after such notice shall be Guilty of Felony.

22 Any Persons who fairly and lawfully purchased such Horse
so desribed that has been lost or Stolen shall send an Account
thereof to the Inspector with the particulars of the Sale when &
where bought &c in order to prosecute the Offender and the owner
thereby recover his property.

23 Every Parish shall pay the sum of £ Yearly to the Office
belonging to the County in which such Parish shall be situated
towards the support of apprehending and prosecuting such
Felons and other Expences.

24 Persons having any Horses &c. for Slaughter shall give proper
notice to the Houses Licenced for that purpose, where the Inspector
shall attend four times a Day or oftener as occasion may require
(Sundays excepted) to Register the Marks of the said Horses &c
under the penalty of £ and the Inspector shall make it
Publickly known in what Parish or Street &c where he resides

25 That no Fell Monger Currier Collar Maker &c (in any County
Town &c shall Flay or Skin or caused to be Flayed or Skinned or
otherwise disfigure any Horse &c before it is seen by the Inspector
and registered by him under Penalty of £

26 Any Person offering for Sale as any Horse &c at any
Repository or other Public Place of Sale where they are sold by
Auction and entering them by any fictitious name or place of abode
shall be fined £ And if the Auctioneer should have any
suspicion that the Person offering the same for Sale should
not have come lawfully by them he shall be empowered to
detain the same Horse &c till the said Auctioneer is satisfied
by the Inspector of the Parish where he purchased the
Same that it is the Sellers property or not.

27 That the Owner of every Repository or the auctioneer of every
Public Sale or Auction, their Servants or others who he or they
