And be it further enacted, that
upon reasonable cause of suspicion verified upon
oath that any of his Majesty's stores after
having been recently purloined embezzled or
otherwise unlawfully obtained out of any such
, Lighter – Craft as aforesaid or out of
and from any of his Majesty's Ships or Vessels,
Dock Yards or Storehouses have been deposited
or are lying in any Yard, Warehouse, Dwelling
House or other Place, it shall and may be lawful
to send for
which are inasmuch as the same by reason of their smallness are not his
Majesty's property nor the crew thereof in his
Majesty's Jury are not under the command of
any person
