The objection in point of economy against the
use of such children's miniature tools, an objection which
would be fatal in a private family among the
poor, would not be s vanish in a public seminary.
As it would include children of all ages
tools of all sizes, how numerous soever were the
gradations in point of size, would find work in
hands in sufficient number to wear them out.

Means are not wanting, by which the exercises
of walking and running might by giving motion
to a machine, save as it s be convertible to
the purpose of pecuniary economy, by saving as
far as they want the expence of other moving
powers. How the matter question of profit and loss would
stand as between the value of the acquisition that
might thus be made in the article of moving power,
and the expence of the mechanism necessary
for the apply to it production and application of
it, in this mode way, according to this mode is a matter of calculation
collative which scarcely comes with the compass design
of the present design pages.
