too alarming – What? – make paupers begs children men of science?
– qualify Pauper-boys for the Royal Society, and Pauper-Girls
for the Cha Blue-Stocking Club? – Yes verily:
in so far so far much at least as Mole-catcher, Rat-catchers – and those
who keep bred Bees or Silk-worms are qualified for those
Societies. The Mole-catcher and the Rat-catcher –
so far as they understand the nature of the animals they
have to deal with – are what are they but Tetrapodologists? the Bee master
or Mistress and Silkworm-feeder, a male or female, but an Entomologist?
the Fisherman but an Ichthyologist? – to Poacher – a Professor
of the inferior rank still more extensive science – is the Tetrapodologist the
Icthyologist Ichthyologist, and the Ornithologist, all in one. That
popular book, the Compleat Vermin killer. is what is it but Tetrapodology
– Ornithology and Entomology and Herpetology
applied to practice? What is to be done?
Eating fish – meat – Icthyology Ichthyology:: eating meat or Sarcophagy, and bread and meat is Ichthyofagy
Sarcophagy Artophagy – and Sitophagy: – shall
any thus be banished from an Industry House? as being a scientific process.
