Sec. 37 Act 2 Geo 3 Cap 28 Sec 5, 6 & 7 Amended. Power to have Suspected goods
through any number of Hands – Possession of such goods may be a
misdemeanor although a prior possessor be produced

Sec. 38 Misdemeanor not to Stop Suspected Goods with the Offenders

Sec. 39 Thieves &c Convicting Receivers of Felonies or misdemeanors shall be
pardoned or discharged

Sec. 40 Penalties for Offences, herein made misdemeanors – Application thereof

Sec. 41 Proceedings before Special or other Justices – Form of Conviction as by 2Geo.
Apt: 28 no Certiorari or appeal

Sec. 42 Persons in General bound to Assist Constables or Surveyors with or without
Command

Sec. 43 Boats Forfeited under 2 Geo. 1 Cap. 28 may instead of being destroyed
be sold or restored; it the owner losing a part of the value –

Sec. 44 Penalty for Endeavouring to obstruct the Execution of this Act by a
Suppression of Evidence or otherwise with or without Force

Sec. 45 Penalty for destroying or damaging Office Boats

Sec. 46 Offences made misdemeanors under the Act 2 Geo 3 Dap 28 C may be
punished either under that or this present Act

Sec. 47 Offences made Transportable for 14 years by the Act 2 G3 Cap 28
hereby declared Felony –

Sec. 48 No person to be charged for as a Ship Watchman without being a
Ship Constable – any fit Watchman recommended by Ships Husband
shall be appointed a Ship Constable

Sec. 49 Commissioners may make regulations touching the Shipping unloadg
landing Warehousing and Sampling of Goods

Sec. 50 Power to his Majesty in Council at the Instance of the Lord Mayor
and Aldermen to Annul regulations made by the Commissioners

Sec. 51 Commissioners may Suspend a Commissioner for manifest unfitness
and the King & Council on the representation of a Majority may
dismiss him
