duly authorized on his behalf, before such engagement
shall be entered into, and no alteration involving an
additional expense exceeding 10s/ for one Lecture
shall in any respect be made without the sanction
of the Committee. This order shall also apply to
gratuitous services, except so far as regards the amount
of remuneration.
9. All works intended to be carried into effect by
the Committee, the expense of which is expected to exceed
Five Pounds, shall be announced to the Members by
notice in the Hall, inviting them to send in estimates
for such works.
10. All Donors to the Institution shall receive by
letter from the Secretary, the cordial thanks of the
Committee.
11. All orders to Tradesmen employed by the Institution
shall be given to the Parties by the Secretary only,
who shall register the orders in a Book kept for
that purpose.
12. Before the Theatre is let for any Public Meeting
a copy of the Advertisement or Bill for convening
such Meeting shall be submitted to the Secretary for
his approval.
13. That no Apparatus shall be lent for a longer
period than one week, or removed to a greater
distance than 5 miles from the Institution.
