Efficient causes of demand
Correspondent Forms of Supply –
1. Eventual failure of an existing
life income or source of
life-income amounting to possessed by the
purchaser, or by a dependent
for whom he means to provide.
1. Annuity Eventual annuity
commencing upon
the failure
2. Death of the purchaser being
(possessed of an existing income
or source of income) leaving
a widow in need of a provision.
2. Eventual annuity
during the life of such
widow, commencing with
the widowhood: – or
a gross sum in lieu
thereof
3. Death of the purchaser (possessed
as before) leaving a child or
children in need of a provision.
3. Eventual annuity during commencing
the life of any or at such death, and
payable to the use of any or
every such child determinable
or not during life determinable
upon his arrival at a
certain age – or any
other period fixed or
a Gross sum moveable – or
A gross sum payable to
the use of any such child
in any of the events, and at
in any of the periods following
1. Arrival at an age for
being put out apprentice
2. Arrival at full age
3. Arrival at any earlier
age competent to the purchase
of a situation affording
a provisions – ex. gr. a
commission in the army.
4. Death of a third person, during
hi whose life the purchaser or
a dependent of his, is to enjoy
an income or source of income.
