Prospectus of the Universalist6

So much for the qualities with which the it will be the endeavour
of the Universalist to give to his paper production considered in its the character.

Now for as to the means which he looks to for the fulfilment
of the undertaking engagement thus entered into.

Of the information which he communicates by much the
greater part must first have been recuzed by him: minute in
comparison must be that which originates in himself. Whatsoever
he thus recuzes will have its had its sources and its channels:
these two objects will to a considerable extent these two
objects may be seen running one into another: but still to a
considerable extent they may be seen to be distinct,
in particular. So many channels through which the entire nation will have to be recuzed.

So many always productive in general, and so many periodical.

In the front of those his list of his qualifications
for the task he takes upon himself he places the language having
it have fallen in his way to acquire. The following are the languages
with which he has such an acquaintance as will enable
him to number among the channels of the information received by him his channels the periodicals in general,
the Newspapers in particular which are published in the several countries
of which these are the languages.

6. The Danish
7. The Swedish
8. The Norwegian
9. The Dutch
10. The Flemish
11. The Icelandish
12. The Hungarian
13. The Modern Greek
14. The Italian
15. The Spanish
16. The Portugueze
17. The Arabic?
18. The Hindustance.

Among the channels through which he draws his information
will be Newspapers printed in all the above languages: but
of the information with which he will furnish himself all the list of
those languages does not yet exhibit in all its varieties.
By means the one language the English will he will be supplied with it
periodicals of the Anglo-American United States including a Newspaper printed in the English jointly with the languages of the Cherokee Indians to which expression is given by type of their own invention, in addition to that
of printed in the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Ireland and
its several dependences, British India included.
By means of the French he will be supplied with the periodicals of
Belgium as well as with those of France and her dependencies.
By the Dutch with those of the Cape of Good Hope as well as with those
of Holland and its dependencies: and so the case of the Spanish and
Portugueze languages.
