After recital of the letter of Philanthropos in Public
Advertiser of 12 May 1789

Answer by a Church of England man
M.A. of the University of Oxford

That this is an article of faith in the Church
of Rome is but too true: that such it is so in the
Church of England is equally so. The doctrine
