were Oblidged to trow all our Cloathing over
Board they Better to lighten our Boat as they
Sea Breaking over us Quite Rapid__
That Night we Ran into an Open Bay & Could
see no Place to Land at the Surf Running that
we were Afraid of Staving our Boat to
Pieces _ We Came to a Grapling in that Bay
the same Night about 2 oClock in the
Morng our Grapling Broke & we were drove
in the Middle of the Surf Expecting every Moment
that our Boat wou’d be Staved to Pieces &
every Soul Perish but as God wou’d have we
Got our Boat save on Shore without any
Loss or Damage excepting one Oar we Hauld
our Boat up & there Remaind two days & 2 Nights
there
