For shortness sake, these rules, in so far as they relate apply
to the subject here in hand may be thus expressed, viz
1. Rules forbidding misapplication. Let care be taken lest
in the occasion or in practice of the reward

Of these four rules the first two concern regard the character
to be given to the sort species of matter in question viz the
matter of reward: the two others regard concern the quantum
proper suitable to the occasion to be allotted, regard being had to the nature and
value of the service
