Having for its object the benefit advancement of the military
service in both branches of it by sea and land viz. the land and the
sea service, and as a means to that end being principally having for
principal occupation the matter of reward for the purpose affording in the shape of
reward, encouragement to the different classes of persons
whose and labours are dedicated directed to that
service, it is the favourable or cherishing favouring and of the side of her
