☞ Confront the several strings of , and see whether
the wording is the same where the meaning is or ought
to be the same.

Sect. 3. In this Section mention designation is made of one other
of the operations constitutive of the kind of service in consideration
of which the encouragement is by this Section administered:
1. the persons grantees being the same six to which in that behalf mentioned
in the last preceding Section.

2. This consists in the taking any fortress upon the land
carry arms, ammunition, stores of war, goods merchandize
and treasure belonging to the State, or to any public trading
body Company of the enemies of the Crown of Great Britain
upon the land, or any Arms, Ammunition, Stores of War, Goods Ship or Vessel, or threatened viz India
merchandize and Treasure on board the same, in any Creek,
River, Haven, or Road, belonging to and defended by the
said "Fortress upon the Land".

3. The encouragement consists in the "sole interest and
property of and in the articles so enumerated".

4. The condition the same as above.

5. Proportions to be ascertained by from the same documents
as above.

But with power reserved to the King, by in conjunct expedition
of the Navy and Army against any such fortress upon the land
by "Instructions or Directions" under his Sign Manual he
to determine "the division and distribution of property taken
thereat.

Note that on this occasion the contents in the case
of any or Vessel or Vessels captured on any Road, Haven
"River or Creek, belonging to or defended by such fortress" a special description or specification is
given of their contents: viz. 1. Arms. 2. Ammunication. 3. Tackle.
4. Apparel. 5. Furniture. 6. Merchandize and other
effects on board".

in hopes of there being saved from such capture?
