This in substance a Bill not Amendment

Anticipating the sort of answer which such is it may
happen to such a requisition to receive, the legislator
puts the care of its importing in substance, that
the claim thus made has been already satisfied.
In this case it he requires an answer to be given under
four heads which it he specifies: viz. 1. Name of him
by whom received. 2. Above of do. What if he wandering Sailor? 3. Time of such
payment and receipt: 4. authority, under what authority
from the claimant: – and, thereupon in case of
omission continued for a time (viz. two days) therein
mentioned comes penalty, with procedure
and apposite evidence for the recovery of the same.

To claimant, double the sum claimed, recoverable with
full copy of suit, or recoverable by Action of Debt, declaration
thereupon for so much money received
by Defendant to Plaintiff's use, sole facts requisite
to be proved by on Plaintiff's side, the act of claiming act of making claim,
and the act of making such requisition as above.

The dir Here as elsewhere the ultimate immediate
remedy given resort is Action at Common
Law carried on in the ordinary course of technical
procedure. But, antecedently to this action, to make a sort of
ground is made or endeavoured to be for it by an a sort of epistolary intercourse
to which is carried on in the way of natural procedure, to which
having the effect is given or endeavoured to be given the
effect of a suit in Equity carried on by Bill, Answer
and amended Bill.

In the character of a precedent, that part of the contrivance has a full just claim to restore.

If in this instance the particular instance here in question, this sort of untechnical and extra judicial
correspondence carried on in the language of common
sense clear of technical jargon can be found or made to answer
the purpose, so may it and with equal effect, in other
instances in number
and extent commensurable.
