in the Act of 1809.
3. Seven Sections more, whereof five in the Act of 1805,
§. 54, 56, 57, 58, 59, two in the Act of 1809 viz §. 2 and 3, are occupied in providing for
responsibility, forthcomingness and notoriety on the part
of Prize Agents of the persons here in question.
4. In Section 55 in the Act of 1805 is occupied in
preventing Agents of this description a Prize Agent from obtaining undue
support by letting in other persons from a share
in their his instruments.
In the clause itself the object in view in the
prohibition is not stated: but it reflection on the nature
of the case, together supported by with a hint in a paper of
Mr Roses suffice to indicate it.
