Confusion thickened by time.
Sect. 58. Between the penman draughtsman who drew
the last Section but one, and the draughtsman who drew
this Section there seems not to have been any communication.
No communication between the two compositors,
nor any person by whom their respective works
were confronted and compared.
In this §. 56 speaking of Vice Admiralty Courts
as well as the High Admiralty Court Decr 26 and June 25th
or within 40 days after were the times appointed.
In this Section §. 58 Vice Admiralty Courts are the only
judicatories spoken of, and now October 23d or within
3 months after is the time appointed.
An Letter of Attorney entry transmitted on this
October 23d or within three months after, a Seaman or
other person interested or not interested is by this 48th
Section not entitled to inspect and to inspect gratis.
But to entries the case of an entry, transmitted as above at either of those
two other periods, this his title does not extend.
To copies a copy transmitted as above, in virtue of §. 58
it the October period, the Judge Judicatory the Vice Admiralty Judicatory
is required to affix its official seal: – to a
copy transmitted at either of the two other periods the
requisition does not extend.
