22 Decr 1810
Prize Acts 1805 1809

Thus should the matter in the comparatively simple
case in which the it is in the High Court in London
that the condemnation has been made pronounced and .

But in this same section entangled with that
simple case is the complicated case which has place
where it is in a Vice Admiralty Court somewhere or in some part or
other of the surface that the condemnation has
been pronounced.

In such case, according to other parts of this Act
at any rate if it be in within the jurisdiction of the Vice Admiralty
Court that the Sale has taken place it is within the
jurisdiction of the same Vice Admiralty Court that distribution
is to take place.

In that place is to be Thus much for the previous Acts: in hat place is to be thus much
for the subsequent distribution.

But the in this same case the intermediate litigation
where is that to be? Answer. In the High Court at
London, in whatsoever portion of the surface those
other operations the one has been, the other is to be carried
on performed.

And says the Act §. 67 if such prize shall have been
condemned in any Court of Vice Admiralty abroad shall"
(the Agent dwell) "as soon as the same can be done, transmitt
"to the High Court of Admiralty in England, an attested
"copy of the detached Accounts of the Sales of such prize,
"duly verified upon Oath, together with attested copies of all
"Vouchers required bu the Court" (what Court? Admiralty in
"England or Vice Admiralty in the East Indies?) which copies so
"transmitted to the said High Court of Admiralty, shall be deposited
"in the public Registry thereof, and all parties interested therein shall
"have liberty to the
"Charges and Articles
"therein contained, and
"the said Court" (the last
said Court is the
High Court) shall
confirm or disallow
the Accounts ... and
shall make such further
Order &c.

Furnished with such engines of delay – enquire if sure and
safe delay with its attendant profits it may left to be enquired
whether the mouth of an Agent can have much to apprehend from
any curb which the and ingenuity of Right Honourable
Gentlemen, seconded by the learnings of learned gentlemen can have provided for it.
