§. 80 continued – This section is of the number of those
the improvement of improving hand to which the genius of the Right Honourable Treasurer
seconded by the learning of the learned advisers have applied themselves itself. But the mode shape in which they
have displayed themselves and the consequent fruit is such as would not readily
have been reached by conjecture.

The business object is to get the residuum after distribution
transmitted paid over by the Agent to Greenwich Hospital. This is
what the Act of 1805 in its first section ordained to be
done viz. at the end of four months after the first distribution
of the proceeds.

This it seems was not effectual: and what is
it that all the has been done by all this talent and all
this learning to empower encrease its efficacy? Instead if shall
that imperative future having for want of long windedness
failed in point of efficacy, comes enter learning and puts writes
"shall and he and they is and are hereby required.
Instead of "four months after the first distribution of the
"proceeds" comes talent genius "at the end of four months
next after the day on which distribution shall have been
notified pursuant to the directions in the said Act can
(the consolidating Act of 1805) "contained", having at the
same time in full forces the whole section thus amended and all
sections if more than one thus amended in full force.
Now of this addition or this substitution whichever
it be meant for and predestinated to be, what is the
effect?
