§. 2. Particular Operations to be performed in and by the Official Establishment
§. 2. Business of the Hospital in relation to prize &c moneys.
Act. 1805. Section 81.
In By the last preceding Section (§. 80) had for its
object the causing Prize Agents a Prize Agent, to at the end of four
months from the day on which he had begun to make
distribution, was to transmitt to Greenwich Hospital the
Ballance remaining in his hands together with an Account
of his receipts and of the payments made by him to captors.+ + mention of payments
to other persons, viz in
the sum of expences omitted
as noticed in its place
1. Those Accounts being lodged in the Treasurers Office
this 81st Section has for its object the Treasurer is according to this Section to make extract from them under
the 4 following heads: 1. Prize Vessel captured: 2. Vessel or Vessels
capturing. 3. Names of Captors who have received payments, an Account
of each payment whose shares have been transmitted
to the Hospital. 4. Amounts of their respective shares.(a)
(a) The heads here numbered 3 and 4 are occupy in the Act the
first and second place: those here numbered 1 and 2, the third
and 4th place.
2. These A Extracts are then to be "forthwith transmitted ....
to the Office for Prizes in the Navy Pay Office".
3. In the Navy Pay Office they are to "be open to
"the inspection of all persons entered therein, on every
"day (Sundays excepted) within the usual hours of business
"at the said Navy Pay Office, for t ....
4. "For which inspection no fee .... shall be ... payable.
