To this case I can not find find not any provision applicable.

The purpose business and the only business for the transaction
of which the residence of a Deputy of the description in question at each
such place is assumed is that of remitting or
causing to be remitted to the Hospital ballance
balances remaining in the hands of Prize Agents after
distribution finished. If Within the time allowed
in such places respectively for distribution it is to the
Agent of course and him alone that a claimant will
have to apply. But when that time is outrun,
it seems not easy to say, why if there being the sort
of Deputy in question on the spot, his assistance
should not be given towards enabling a Claimant to
obtain his due thus long at this length of time after it has become due, the
assistance of such Deputy abroad should not be refused be afforded withheld
from a Claimant as well as any more than that of a like deputy stationed at home.
Is it that it is has been made matter of policy to discountenance the
payment of these in places out of the United Kingdom?
This can not have been the case, for it is by the Prize
Agent that the by far the greater part of the aggregate
mass of the proceeds of a Prize will naturally be
paid, and for the securing the payment of this part
at all such places abroad is among the objects expressly
aimed at an end promoted by this Act.
