§. 94, 95.
4. By some person somebody or other, this the petition, with those
its evidences is then to be transmitted to Greenwich Hospital
viz. to the Clerk of the Cheque of that establishment.
By somebody, but who that somebody is is a point left
to conjecture.
5. By the Clerk of the Cheque a Report is thereupon then
to be made stating the sum due, "with the circumstances
"under which the same was .... paid into the Hospital".
6. By the same Clerk of the Cheque, the Petition together with the Report of
his, is now then to be referred (does "referred" mean transmitted
"or only marked as transmissible?) "to the
"Navy Office". (Quere to what person in the Navy Office?)
7. In thus commanding or permitting this transmission
or this reference, the object in view is declared stated to be –
"that the service of the claimant .... may be ascertained".
But by what official person the ascertainment is to shall
be made is not mentioned.
