Jany 1811
§. 95

Treasurers Deputy can share no more of a Representative
than a Minister &c can.

☞ After noting the multitude of useless needless persons and operations
employed proceed to the next case as provided
for in the next Section as follows

Act of 1805. Section 95.

In This Section is described has for its task
the giving a description of the mode in which the
business of payment shall be made obtained performed from the Hospital
in the third of the above four cases, viz. from by a
person resident at the time at a place at which
though still within the United Kingdom there exists no
such official person deputed be ready stationed
under a deputation from the Greenwich Treasurer to
lend his assistance on such occasions and for such purposes.

Compared with the former and more simple case, if in
this case the difficulty is considerable. In the former
case, in the person of the Treasurer's Deputy there exists existed
an individual. In both cases the point The points to be ascertained are is
in the case of the principal
that the person presenting himself in the character of
one of the persons whose names stand upon the Prize List (Captors list would have been more expressive) list
is that same person. The A Treasurer's deputy, being
by the supposition, in the case of every captured ship furnished with a Captors list for
the Capturing Ship or Ships in the case of every Ship
captured, would thus for without much danger of mistake be able to judge whether the
name given by and station attributed to himself by the applicant
had a correspondent name and station upon the list.
Conversant more or less with the nature of the business in
question, he would in case of suspicion he would be proportionally
well prepared to lead and for the scrutinizing into the truth of the applicants assertions such questions by apposite questions as should be most apposite to scrutinize the truth of the applications asserted by apposite questions.
