15. "Upon being duly satisfied if of the truth of such
certificate" he (the person drawn upon) is "to testify
the same on the back of such Bill.

16. I ... and immediately to pay to such
person, without fee a reward, it .... "the sum directed
to be paid by such Bill.

17. "Taking his receipt for the same in the book thereof".

18. Two cases are then specified, in either of
which the person drawn upon "shall" (is is said)
return that Bill to the Treasurer .... &c who shall
cause the sa

19. "Who shall cause the same to be cancelled."

20. These are 1. If within 6 or 9 months (now called Calendar Months) or
above "the duplicate of such Bill" be not .... "delivered, and payment de
".... demanded".

21. 2. "If a proper certificate of the person claiming
"such Prize or Bounty money be not likewise produced".

22. From and after the cancelling of such the
"same such Prize and Bounty money" (it is then said) shall remain payable
"in like manner as if the said Bill had not been
"made out".

By this I understand that where as soon from the time that if
the duplicate instruments that which was transmitted
from the Hospital to the Officer of Government has been returned
to the Hospital, or at least from the time that it has been of its being
annulled there, the other though it should happen to it
to remain in the hands of the applicant shall no not suffice
to enable him to receive the amount: but that he will remain
entitled to receive the
amount by some other
means: for example
by means of a fresh pair
of such skills.
