Prize 1805 1809: 1085 §. 100
The misfortune is that to this particular it is not
without violating this 100th Section in this same Act that the 105th Section
of it can be obeyed. For in his zeal to prevent
the matter of reward from flowing finding its way into the official
pockets or quicker from an improper source, viz.
the pockets of individual in their of individuals
occupying the greater number of them in humble
and recently provided stations there in question,
overlooking the restrictions or exceptions that were the
making expression of which was necessary to render his words
expressive of his reward encreasing, he has cut put in
a state of sequestration those official pockets, and
cut them off from all communication with from all
possibility of receiving on any other terms conditions than that
of violating the terms of an Act of Parliament, the matter of reward from any
source, from any shape.
