Moral – for the employing of the word moral on the
same occasion and to the same purpose, what is the ground
or warrant?

Answer – In this consideration – viz. that for such the performance of
acts positive and negative together
observances as though not sanctioned by the political sanction nor by on the occasion as all persons considered as sanctioned by
the political sanction, and yet at the same time considered
as obligatory, the moral sanction is the sanction of
morality is the by which the source of the obligation
seems to commonly have been designated.
