§. Law knowledge necessary
Offences collectively
Denial of Law-knowledge as above involves denial
of justice: for justice can not be had any further than as it
is demanded: nor demanded except in so far as it is
known or believed that if demanded there is a probability of
more or less considerable, that of its being to be had. And
this denial of justice is all-comprehensive.

Equality requires, that, though it be at the expence of all the other members
of the community, the means of those whose income is composed
of the wages of labour be maximized. Reason. Of those
is composed the vast majority of the whole number of the members
of the community.
Exception excepted Equality requires that the profits of stock be minimized. Reason. Because the greate the net profits of stock are
composed of the mass or say portion remaining of to the employer
of the stock after deduction made of the wages of labour applied
to it.
Examples will be, if the supposed case be realized really exemplified, where
the possessors of the wages of labour are so few many and the possessors those employers of the profits of
of stock so far that by a small addition to the one no sensible will be made from the other.
