in applying even for this he ventured to act against
advice. in refusing to do what could be done towards
repairing a flaw thus left by the act of Government,
Government would therefore be taking advantage of its own
wrong.

The disappointments Mr B. has sustained in
the course of the business need no fresh addition. The
deduction of the £ 19,000 at the expence of his representatives
was a recent after thought on the part
of one Member of Administration, in breach of terms
standing in black & white and admitted to have been
acceded to by others Members of Administration two
years before. —
