Agent of Henry Wise> Esqr of Warwalk

Is not the Thames Wharf occupied recently by Campbell
& White about to be put up to Auction? – Has not Mr
White the Surviving Partner 6 years of the Lease to run?
– Could this lease be given up? – Is not the
Wharf abandoned and unproductive at present to Mr
White, and would he not be glad to part with the
Lease without any consideration? – Would he
Consent on a Sale of the Wharf to give up the Lease
at any time on 6 months notice to the purchaser?

Has Mr. Smith any of the Advertisements or printed
particulars of this property when last put up to
Auction?

Was Campbell & Whites Interests in the Lease
included in the Sale & What value was set upon
the List.

What was the price demanded when put up to
Auction for the whole? – What price would now
be accepted including Campbell & Whites Lease. And
What price with that encumbrance.

again, – but would sell at a less £2000. – Campbell
& White pay at present 60£ a year. They 7 years from
Michaelmas. – The premises were put up subject
to the encumbrance of this Lease – Mr White told
Mr Smith that they made very little use of the
premises at present and that it was of very little
use to him at present – Mr white lives almost
facing the end of Wimpole Street in the New Road.
He is a Surveyor & Agent to the Duke of Portland
– It is freehold & has no incumbrance but the

Mr Smith promises to look out for the particulars – and
also to write Mr Wise to know his lowest price & to
know from Mr White whether he would part with
the Lease.

It was not. – The property was put up subject to
the Lease & with that encumbrance.

Mr Wise in the opinion of Mr Smith will not sell
under 2000£ – The money he wanted when he
formerly put up the property he obtained from other
resources, and he does not now suppose him to
be in want of money.
