Pencil notes by Mr Colquhoun and Mr Moser to
the Case relative to the Tothill Fields Bill – The
pages refer to a copy containing 19 pages, including
the addition made on the subject of the Building Plans.

No 1. Page 1. ["of the annexed Bill"] A Bill of which the
Heads are annexed. Mr. C.

No 2. P. 2. ["and should disaffection &c to criminal operations"]
This perhaps had may as well be left out. Mr C. or Mr M.?

No 3. P. 2 [ of the Poor &c The Vestry or rather the
Parish Officers of St Margarets have an exclusive right
to nominate to their Houses. I never have heard that the
Representatives of St John's have contended, though they
have asserted that they have a right to the said Nomination.
Mr M. – but queer as to some of the words.

No 4. P. 3. ["A rod of antipathy" to "crumbled away in encroachments"]
I really thinks this had better be left out – Mr C. – The shed
called the Pound Cellar and its appurtenances, which
by the inattention of the D. and C. was sold as private
property is an instance of this.

No 5. P. 5. ["No Leases have been granted in pursuance of those
advertisements."] Except of the piece on which is erected
and the House and within which is inclosed the garden
of Mr Storr. Mr M.

No 6. P. 6. ["A Projector of new Towns"] This person's name was
Riley. The only vestige of his intention of carrying
his [here something seems omitted – perhaps his places into
execution] was his embanking a part of the front for
a Wharf, and his making a Road with Gates &c, running
by the Wall of Grosvenor House. Mr M.

No 6. P. 6. Out of the hands of the [assignees of the] Projecter.
The words "assignees of the" by Mr M.

No 7. P. 8. [mean, dangerous and unwelcome company.] These
observations are as true as they are excellent. Mr M.
