Posology in general

Ch. or §. 1 Of the uses and application of posology, considered in the normal branches

N.B. This designation indication of the uses, may be combined given in combination with or a
separation separated from the indication given of the several branches
of somotive to which the several branches of posology are
respectively applicable. Both in combination: the indication
of the uses will serve to the aridity of the divisions
and definitions.

In teaching, the indication of the uses should be called for
by appropriate questions.

It was as applied to Ethics – giving clearness to ideas
and giving correctness in so far as correctness depends
upon proportions.

N.B. Somotology – to which posology has the most
direct and frequent application, can not but be occasionally
referred to in Ethics.
