6th Dimension — Purity Purity> A sensation thus connected with one of an opposite nature coming after
it, may be stiled alloy'dor dissimilarly fruitful:a disimilarly: a pleasure with a pain after it, an alloy'd pleasure
a pain with a pleasure after it, an alloy'd pain. In this sense
we may have to speak of the purity of a sensation: of the purity
of a pain or of a pleasure. [a] And this gives us a 6th ingredient in the value of a Pain or Pleasure: a 6th Dimension

Sensation antecedent x consequent. For the consequence of discourse, the sensation that comes of For a pair of sensations thus connected, it will be of use to provide, in order to

Purity — measure of. A sensation is more or less pure in the proportion it bears in value to
the sensation that is it's consequent. The proportion of it's value to that
of the consequent is the measure of it's purity. Clear values of a Pain or Pleasure V. Inferenda. p.1 No4.

Clear values of a Pain or Pleasure 7th Dimension — Fecundity. Prolific. As a pleasure may be followed by a pain if suing from the same cause
so may it by another pleasure: and so it is with pains. When this is the
case with a pleasure or with a pain, we may give it the epithet of
prolific: and to this purpose we may speak of it's fecundity. And lastly, in
this for we have a 7th ingredient of in the value of a Pain or Pleasure: a 7th Dimension.

Impure Pleasure Example [a] I am hungry: I eat: I feel a pleasure. Afterwards comes an indigestion: I
then feel pain my pleasure is alloy'd.

I have an indigestion: I am in pain. I take physic. For some time this
puts me to intense pain pain: But it relieves me from the first. To—
be relieved from pain is pleasure. The pain it have me was therefore
an alloy'd pain.
